Sinéad COLLINS

Sorry to hear of the passing of Sinéad. She was my boss in Dublin County Council for a while before Reorganisation of the County in 1994.

A very fair person. And, as I recall, a very good Auntie to her Nieces and Nephews! And one of the few Women who got past a certain grade in local government; even in the 1990s.

And. A better golfer than most - if not all - her male colleagues. That's what I was told.

Sinead always said to me that she was very proud that the two of us were the only members in Forrest Little over 38 years as Captain and lady Captain that won the Leinster trophy, she was a beautiful lady and a super golfer with nerves of steel.
