It was a pleasure working with you at the Newsam Centre at Seacroft Hospital on the forensic ward. You are truly an amazing person, and you always treated me as part of your team. I genuinely looked forward to working with you—you brought so much life and energy, and there was never a dull moment.

Your departure came as a real shock, and it deeply saddened me. I pray that the Lord grants your soul eternal rest. Amen.

when you entered my life , the day that you started at Leeds Forensic services, all those years ago. You brought such light into my life. you shall always be in my heart. Which is something ,seems you hid my meal from me for 5 hours on our first night shift together. Going to miss you girl!

I still can’t quite believe I’m writing this.

Sinéad, you brought such a warm, calming energy—but also chaos in the best way. I don’t think I’ll ever forget the random bang noises in the office when you somehow managed to fall off your chair, or the times you’d suddenly scream in my ear just to scare me. Honestly, who does that? Only you.

I loved our last meditations on the ward, nearly falling asleep together, and I was so looking forward to Pilates with you… now I won’t get that chance. It’s hit me really hard. When I close my eyes, I still see your smiling face.

I’m going to miss your joy, your silliness, your kindness… all of it.
Rest peacefully, beautiful soul.

We lost our amazing colleague Sinead on Friday, and it has hit us all very hard.
Sinead was such a lovely woman — always smiling, full of life, and someone who could light up the ward the moment she walked in. I’ll always remember the laughs we shared, the long day and night shifts, and the heart-to-heart conversations we had during difficult moments.
She wasn’t just a colleague to me. She was someone I could talk to when I was at my worst, a soul who was always there with kindness and understanding.
Sinead was funny, a little clumsy at times, very loud — but that was exactly what made her the life of the ward. I’ll never forget seeing her walk into the staff room with her keys stuck in the lock on the strap, struggling to pull them out while everyone watched and laughed. Those little moments made our days brighter.
Her sudden passing has come as a huge shock to all of us.
Goodnight beautiful Sinead. You will truly be missed.
