Sincere sympathy to the entire Gibbons family on the death of Siobhan. She was such a legend in the neighbourhood, always in the garden , ready for a chat or out and about with her dogs. In recent years she took to her scooter to stay connected to her community and could be seen around at the coffee shop or up at Centra, always with dogs in tow,. May she rest in peace.

Siobhan was a very genuine caring person who loved helping others. Always generous with her time, she quietly & willingly helped those in need, including neighbours thoughout the years. She was a regular, generous supporter to numerous charities & sales of work, & renowned for her delicious home made brown, jams & tarts.
A passionate supporter of GAA, & O'Tooles Park, she never forgot her beloved native Cork, with the red & white flags displayed on match days. She loved her family dearly, loved her dogs, & her beautiful garden which she always kept well maintained, with bright coloured plants & flowers. Siobhan will be hugely missed by all who knew her, not forgetting her neighbours who will miss her cheerful presence & chats. The Avenue is a very different place without her, but Siobhan is now at peace & our loss is heaven's gain.
Siobhan may the good Lord grant you your just rewards, you were a genuinely a wonderful person.
