Seán, We have only now learned of Siobhan’s passing..
Sincere condolences to you and your family on your great loss. May Siobhan Rest gently in Peace.

I would like, on behalf of the O Riordan family and of Siobhan’s sister, Aine, to express our sincere appreciation of all the messages of condolence recorded here. Many of them are very moving and reflect a deep knowledge of and closeness to Siobhan over the years. They are all of great solace and comfort to us in difficult times.

On a final note, I think it might be appropriate to quote the last Prayer of the Faithful from Siobhan’s funeral Mass in Poulfur, Fethard on Sea, on 13th July, 2021:

“ All life is unique and precious and so it has been with Siobhan’s, which has been well spent, and her loving spirit will live on in our hearts and memories. She has shared her life with Sean for over 50 years, with her family, with her sister, Aine, and with you her friends and neighbours. Let us now ask God to take her gentle soul into His care and to protect and comfort Sean and their family, and her sister, Aine and all of us in times ahead.”
