Siobhan!! You were so kind to me when I joined the Virtual Ward, your constant chatter help to ease me in as you showed me the robes that you had held in Sutton for so long. Your passion & drive at work is commendable, even during chemo you would be on teams!! Nursing was your passion as well as your lovely family that you spoke about everyday with the biggest, biggest smile on your face ❤️


Your sense of humour was amazing - I came across the ‘pug mask’ photo you sent me the other day & felt this huge warmth come over me

Siobhan fought so hard to stay alive for all her family and I am so glad she made her daughter’s wedding. She is an inspiration to us all to live life to the full. Fly high Siobhan x

When I joined practice plus back in 2019 Siobhan was one of the first Practitioners who I worked with in the car & what a lovely, kind, chatty lady she was, with a great sense of humour. She will be greatly missed! RIP Siobhan

Although I never had the privilege of working with Siobhan personally, I have heard nothing but the highest praise for her dedication, professionalism, and compassionate care. She was a remarkable colleague whose contributions to our team and the lives of her patients were truly invaluable.

In times of sorrow, it is important to remember and honor the impact of those we have lost. As said, “What we have once enjoyed deeply we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes a part of us.” Siobhan’s spirit and dedication will forever remain a part of our community.

I offer my deepest condolences to Siobhan’s family and friends during this difficult time. May her memory continue to inspire us all.

Where do I even begin about such a wonderful human being?

I got to know Siobhan through our work together on the Virtual Ward and in a very short space of time from when I started, I realised Siobhan was an absolutely amazing person.
Her infectious laugh and her totally positive outlook on life despite the challenges she was going through made you feel that anything is possible!
I will always miss our one to one chats Siobhan and the advice you gave.

I met Siobhan in Bud Flanagan ward in Royal Marsden. She was the most amazing person and a total inspiration to myself in battling cancer. What a fighter. We corresponded by WhatsApp until she was unable to. My condolences to you all. You must be heartbroken but so proud too.

It has been a pleasure and a privilege to know and work with Siobhan for many years. I was continually inspired by her her resilience and determination to carry on. We often chatted at length about her plans and I am so glad she managed to have her holiday last year and to get to Ireland this time. Siobhan will be greatly missed by all who knew her in Sutton. It is indeed with great sadness that I send my sincere condolences to Kevin and family. I was introduced to Siobhan via my daughter Michelle and Mark Somaru and was invited to several family gatherings and met her children, who she was so immensely proud of. Over the past year we communicated on a regular basis and her battle was so courageous. She never gave up - and her goal was to fight and keep on fighting. Her main goal was to attend her daughter's wedding - which she did. She will be dearly missed by many, but her spirit and determination has given us all a reason to remember what Siobhan loved - her family. May her children Niamh, Aoife, Kieran and Conor know always remember that fighting spirit and love she had for all of you, and Kevin. In remembering Siobhan it will always be with a smile - because she gave so much of herself for others. Rest peacefully my friend.
