We had many a lunch with Sr Enda in Kuala Lumpur fantastic lady great company always ready to sing a song known all over Malaysia she will be missed condolences to the Ryan Family

I have not known you neither your name. After the passing of you, I read positive feedback was given to you and I believe you are a good person. Thank you for being with the community and spread the good deeds towards all of them.

Deepest condolences to the Ryan family. I met Dr Michael and Bridie years ago when Sr Enda used to return to Ireland on home leave, and I was her "driver" to places and people she wanted to visit!

A wonderful, inspirational woman, who contributed to the education and development of strong, inspirational women throughout her vocation. I brought my daughter to visit her in Malaysia in January and was so glad I did. Her wake and funeral were "standing room only" and livestreamed to countries where many of her past pupils currently reside.

A huge loss to Assuntarians and her beloved family in Ireland.

I am heartbroken with the passing of Sister Enda Ryan FMM. Her impact on Malaysia, especially through her work empowering and nurturing young women, is immeasurable. Sister Enda built not just a school, but a tribe—a community of empowered, independent, disciplined, kind, and driven women, many of whom have gone on to excel in Corporate Malaysia.

She created a safe haven where girls could flourish independently and lead with courage. Under her guidance, there was no distinction of race or religion at school—only Assuntarians, a testament to her vision of unity and empowerment.

God bless Sr. Enda, she was an angel. Her funeral service was packed with her friends and pupils, and so many touching tributes. She was a credit to Ireland for her service to Malaysia and to her faith.

I send my condolences to all of Sr.Enda's family in Ireland.
She spoke proudly of her Irish family - my mother Anne RIP was a good friend /part of the Irish gang in KL, starting from the 1960s.
She must have had a strong foundation, to achieve what she did in Malaysia.
5 of my cousins are past pupils and regard her as a legend.
They tell of singing at school assemblies - first the Malaysian national anthem, followed by 'When Irish Eyes are Smiling'.
So thousands of Malaysian girls effectively think this is the Irish national anthem abroad.

I knew her as a sister in the congregation and being a near neighbour from Lattin Co Tipperary, we always met when Enda came home for holidays. We used to have good chats and I always found her so interesting and a joy to meet. The influence she had on so many and her achievements in the congregation will be remembered for many a day. My sister and I were very lucky to have Sr. Enda as our headmistress in the Assunta Secondary School in Petaling Jaya. She was simply the most amazing woman - kind, generous, wise, funny, inspiring - and she touched so many lives in the most profound ways. She will be so very missed.
