Sister Annunciata was a gentle kind person who was always caring for others. I remember her when I was a student at Stoodley and her care for students who were unwell or just missing home was unstinting. She mothered us all.
In later years she cared for her community in a similarly tender and generous way. An angel on earth and now in heaven too. She is much missed. May she rest in peace and her family and friends know that they have a friend in heaven.

I have been fortunate to know “Nunci” as she was known to me, all my life. As the matron at Stoodley, where I was lucky enough to attend as a pupil, but also she was friends with my mother, also a former pupil, before then. She used to take care of me so well with lots of treats, love and kindness. She gave so selflessly and had such a huge heart. She showed me how to take care of myself and how to care for others. I loved spending time with her and loved hearing her news via my Mum, Kathryn, over the years since. I’ll miss her lovely smile and warm friendliness so much, and will always cherish those memories.

So very sad to hear Sr Annunciata has passed away but one thing for sure is that she is flying high with the Angels in heaven! Such a beautiful lady.. so kind and gentle and humble .. but also great fun! Enjoyed the fun and the banter with her on our many visits to Torquay whilst visiting St Thomas and Sr Madeleine.
