Deeply sorry to hear of Maeve's passing. She was a lovely woman, a dear friend to my late mother Sheila, and much beloved of everyone who knew her. Her fortitude and good humour were among so many qualities, not least of which were her warmth and her profound religious belief. She will be deeply mourned, and the remembrance of her kindness, her laughter and her deep humanity will be a consoling grace to her relatives and friends, and to the Sisters of St Louis. May she rest in peace.
