Wonderful memories of Sr. Maria and Sr. Miriam in Cross and Passion Kilcullen. How sad for you Sr. Miriam losing your sister and friend. I have no doubt she is with the Angels and watching over you Rest in peace Sr. Maria.
Remembering Sr. Maria as a gentle soul and acknowledging the contribution she made to the education of many generations of Kilcullen girls. Her Home Economics room was like an island in the school, far from the melee of school life. My sincere sympathies too Sr. Miriam, the Sisters of the Cross & Passion & the other members of Sr. Maria's families.May she rest in peace.

Dear Sr.Miriam,
How sad for you your lovely friend and sister has gone from your sight, but she is not far away and she has great comfort now and in heavenly peace. I’d say Annette and Aunty Kitty are doing a great job on Maria’s welcome and settling in you don’t have to worry.
All the hours you sat with her sewing ,mending ,knitting , crocheting and hand creating masterpieces while she watched on, with her beautiful contented peace knowing she had you right there. It is a lovely memory for me.
Maria was so generous she wanted to share her medication with everyone in the room, so sweet, and her soft beautiful skin. I can still hear her saying ‘“you are very nice please do come again”. She loved the style and could never resist commenting on a lovely pair of glitzy sandals or my so Daragh’s red runners. She knew all about hospitality and how to give you a very warm friendly welcome. May she rest in sweet and joyful heavenly peace Amen.
