I was so very sorry to read that Smith had passed away a few weeks ago.
Smith will be missed by those of us who grew to know him over the years. Through his work with Kerry Adolescent Counselling Service he also undertook outreach work with students involved with LINK SCP. Across all this work, Smith was a soft spoken gentleman who had a quiet approach to his work with young people and he went about his work with professionalism ensuring the confidentiality and dignity of all those he worked with. Smith will be missed most importantly and very deeply by his family who he adored and he spoke often about. He loved spending time with Josephine and their children and he was full of pride whenever he spoke about his children's work, sport and academic achievements. He especially enjoyed family holidays, he loved organising then, getting a great deal and making the best memories, often.
Smith Doncel was taken way too soon but he leaves such a great legacy. May his gentle soul Rest In Peace.
