Our deepest sympathies to the entire family. We remember an enchanted evening with Sonia during one of her visits to our dear friends Annie & Chris Cobb in Rhode Island. We are grateful that we got to experience her warm yet exuberant and humorous personality. There are no words that can take away the pain you must feel losing Sonia, but her memory will stay with all that were fortunate enough to meet her.

All those wonderful children, there was seldom a dull moment. I have lovely memories and one in particular deserves mention. As most Foxfield children spent the late summer days robbing orchards, we were just as enthusiastic as the rest of the crew. However, with so many Drews we overdid ourselves on one particular day on some poor womans apple orchard and duly brought back several bags laden with apples. Sonia was busy peeling them in her kitchen when said Woman appeared at her front door, I still laugh to this day remembering Sonia's poker face as she faced this woman in her apron complete with apple peeler and apple on hand and denied all knowledge!! R.I.P Mrs Drew, I treasure that memory

So sorry to hear the sad news of Sonia's passing. I have fond memories of visits to Rathmore and Cedar Walk and how your mam always made us so welcome. Mam often reminisces about their time on Foyle Road and the CY. They were best friends for so long. We are thinking of you all at this sad time. RIP Sonia.
