Sr. Ambrose (Mary) KELLEHER

Condolences to family, friends and colleagues of Sr. Ambrose. Sr. Ambrose taught me Maths and Biology in South Pres. She was the best teacher, with a wonderful mind and a generous heart. I remember a warm, spiritual person with a ready smile and lovely laugh.
She was, and still is, an inspiration.
Sr. Ambrose clearly carried the spirit of Nano Angle within her. May she rest in peace.

I was so sad to hear of Sr. Ambrose’s passing. She taught me maths 1975 to 1978. Sr. Ambrose was very understanding and supportive. May she rest in peace. My sincere condolences to the Community in South Presentation Convent and her family.

I have fond memories of her science classes when I was in South Pres in the early 70's and later on in life we got to know each other a lot more and I found in her a deep well of faith. I was blessed to get to know her many years ago.
She was so kind, intelligent, full of fun and had a huge interest in nature.
She loved her room by the window in the nursing home, where she was able to observe the changing sky and trees.
She always said that she was ready ‘to go’.
She certainly had a full life well lived.
Her lovely smile will always be remembered by those of us lucky to have known her.

It was a privilege to have known her— she was a lovely person and a fabulous teacher. I considered myself to be very fortunate to have had her in my life for four of the five years in secondary school.
