Auntie Girlie will be sorely missed by all the Keoghs, Keanes, Kirbys and everyone connected with the Sisters of Mercy. Going to visit her in Nenagh was always a highlight because not only did we get to have a laugh with her, we always got dinner and dessert. The end of an era but she will be fondly remembered by those who knew her. May she rest in peace.

Many years later I met her and she was kind enough to reassure me that any devilment we got up to was harmless!!!!
I have many happy memories of her, her great humour, her kindness and Iike me, I'm sure many of her pupils will always fondly remember our time with 'Sr. Angie' in St. Marys.
