Very sad to hear of sr. Anns passing. She was a wonderful lady full of grace and pose. She was extremely patient with us and well remembered for her smile and ability to have a bit of fun. She will be sorely missed. My condolences to sr eucharia and family members. May she rest in peace.

I am sorry to hear of the passing of Sr. Ann. She was a very kind and thoughtful person with deep spirituality who gave so much to those around her. So sad to hear the very sad news of Sr Anne’s passing She was such a wonderful, happy, positive influence on all of us in 1970s Kilrush, with her guitar and big smile We all loved her Can still remember her coming home from college, Christmas 1976, and ‘telling’ (not asking) her, she had to hear ‘When a child is born’ and learn it asap and then teach it to us, as we, her ‘folk group’ should sing it at Christmas She duly obliged and we were on !! It is an abiding memory of midnight mass in Monmore that year, her glorious voice, to a totally captivated congregation, you literally could hear a pin drop It was heavenly or magical or both She had the voice of an angel, now may the choirs of heavenly angels lead her to paradise, to meet up once more with her wonderful friend Marie Ryan who also was a beautiful presence in Kilrush in the early 70s And reunited with all her family gone before her

Such sad news that God has taken Ann to her eternal rest. My deepest sympathy to her niece Geraldine and grandnephew Alex, who so lovingly cared for her and to the Sisters in Kilkee Community who will truly miss her.
Fond and fun memories of our Mater Dei days when Ann was a stalwart companion. She showed that in her acceptance of her many recent weeks of suffering. May her loving Lord now reward her for that but also for her many years of Mercy Ministry and grant her peace.

My heartfelt sympathy to Geraldine and Alex on the loss of your beloved Sr. Ann (who I know was more like a mother than an aunt to you). Ann made a huge impact on me in our schooldays in Kilrush in the 70’s. She taught us many beautiful hymns and songs and we loved the sessions on retreat with her guitar. She was the most gentle and kind person and always had a smile on her face. My sympathies, too, to Sr. Eucharia (who always made me welcome on my visits to Kilkee) and all the Mercy Sisters and her extended family. Ann bore her illness with strength and acceptance right to the very end. My visit to her last Saturday was an education on how to accept God’s Will while waiting for her Bed in Heaven. May she be rewarded now for a life well lived and be reunited with her dear friend Sr. Marie who was taken so suddenly. Ann, you will be missed by all who knew and loved you and thank you for your friendship. “May the choirs of angels come to greet you, may they speed you to Paradise”.
