Sr. Anne was my principal in St Agnes' primary school in Crumlin where I taught at the beginning of my career. I will always remember Sr. Anne for her kindnes and support to me as a young teacher. I will also remember her as an energetic, positive and fun person. May her gentle soul rest in peace

I was very sad to hear about the passing of Sr. Anne. She’s gone the way of all mortals and I’m glad that she will be welcomed into the bosom of our Lord Jesus Christ. I have fond memories of her as my headmistress at Nazareth Nursery and Primary School Festac Town Lagos starting from when she interviewed me to enter the school at 4 years old. She was one of the kindest people I knew at such a young age, and definitely shaped in a good way, all pupils that schooled under her tutelage. Eternal rest grant unto her O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon her. May the soul of Sr. Anne Lally and the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace 🙏🏾

It is with many fond memories i remember Sr Anne Lally.
She was my principal many years ago when I joined the staff of St. Agnes' School, Crumlin as a young teacher.
The list is very long of the many positive traits she possessed both as a school leader, true educator and wonderful human being.
Sr Anne was such a kind, industrious, energetic and enthusiastic woman. She cared deeply for everyone under the roof of her school, pupils and all the staff. She never walked, she ran! Her busy mind kept them little feet scampering around the corridors.
She loved new innovative ways of exciting the pupils. I have some funny memories of her new intercom system where she made her daily announcements in every class beginning with the sound of her little bell. She saw the fun side in many things and loved to laugh. She was also very sincere, thoughtful and above all kind.
Ive often thought about her in both my home & work life back home.
Thank you Sr Anne for helping me to see some of the most important things in being a teacher of little minds.
May you get your just reward in your heavenly home. You deserve it. Im sure you're singing aloud with the choir of angels.

Sad to hear the death of a beloved daughter of Zion who catered for us visually impaired persons in pacelli school for the blind Lagos, Nigeria. I had a close working relationship with sister Anne even as a student then. She was a librarian, teacher of arts and also played the role of a nurse as she often checked on our eye conditions and gave prompt medical attention when needed.
Sister, u will be greatly missed by those of us who associated with you.
Rest in peace beloved daughter of Zion till we meet on the resurrection morning at the Bossom of our lord Jesus Christ where we shall part no more.

Deep sympathy to all Sr Anne's family, friends & Sisters of Charity. I was blessed to have met Anne in Walkinstown. There aren't enough colours of the rainbow to paint a complete picture of Anne. She loved God's Creation. Her own garden was full of beauty & colour. She understood the bond between concern for nature & justice for the poor. And she was KIND. It's nice to know that we have another friend close to God....may we be sustained by her memory.
