We were sad to learn from Sister Faustina of the sad passing of Sister Anthony. Our sincere sympathy to all the Sisters, family and friends.
We had the pleasure of meeting Sister Anthony and a number of Sisters at the end of July and we have fond memories of that day.

Very Sad to hear of Sr Anthony’s death though I know she had some health problems for some time. The last letter I received from Sr. Anthony had been written for her by another Sister. Our deepest sympathy to Anna and Kay on the death of Pidgeon (as we all knew her in childhood )and to all extended family and also to her community in Nuns Island where i visited her some times. Our family friendship goes back a long way to Clonmel when we would visit your lovely home and beautiful garden. It has really been a hard year for the Timoney family and I will think of you all over the coming months doing my Christmas Cards and having no letter to write to Pidgeon. It is very sad for you that Fr.Timoney and Sr. Anthony
have passed away in such a short time, but hopefully Anna & Kay there
is some consolation in knowing that they are all united in Heaven now and
watching over you all from their heavenly home.

I wish to express sincere sympathy to Sr Anthony's family and to the Poor Clare Community. I have many fond memories of meeting her over the years during my visits to the Poor Clares. She was always so welcoming and kind. She will be greatly missed and my thoughts are with you all in the days ahead.

fondly call her. They worked together and maintained their friendship all through the years with regular letters. We very much appreciate all her prayers and the Poor Clare Sisters over many years. We always looked forward to receiving her lovely letters especially at Christmas. It was a privilege to attend her Golden Jubilee Celebrations not too long ago with my Mam. Sr. Anthony will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. A life well lived in the service of others. May her gentle soul RIP.

Condolences to Sr Anthonys family and the Poor Clare sisters. She was a valued and much loved staff member of Galway co council before she entered the Poor Clares. I replaced her all those years ago,and she kept in contact with colleagues down through the years. We looked forward to her humourous letter after Christmas every year. I always remember her letters to Galway county council staff every Christmas thanking us for our hospitality to the poor Clares. She was dearly remembered by some of the senior staff there at the time. I was a young council member at the time, Sr .Anthony entered the convent on the year I was born!
You always signed off your kind letter with the name “pigeon “
