Memories from St. Brigid's, Tuam, of Sr. Assumpta as a lovely teacher. She was witty, came to class with a lovely wide smile & her latin tuition (which we as students treated as a 'dead & useless language'!!) was very helpful tp me in later years when I did a law degree! In Iothlann Dè go deo anois Sr. Assumpta.

The smile says it all. Such a feisty and spirited woman, she was a delight to meet - always positive and interested in everybody and everything. Sincere condolence to her relatives and to the Sisters of Mercy. I like to think that she is now reunited with all who went before her including her best friend, Sr Sile.
