Sincere condolences to the O'Neill family and the Presentation community on the passing of our dear friend. Sr Assumpta taught my mother and then 40 years later taught me. She will be fondly remembered as a kind and gentle person, with a mischievous glint in her eye and an infectious giggle. It was an honour to have her as a family friend for so many years. May Sr Assumpta rest in peace.

Sincere and deepest sympathy to Sr. Assumpta's family and all her Presentation Sisters. Sr. Assumpta was my teacher in school, my colleague in work and my wise friend. She always had a little word of wisdom when you needed it most. Her loyalty and respectful dedication to the Presentation Order and School were impressive. What a scholar and historian, modest about her wonderful achievements and always willing to share her knowledge. We will miss her great sense of fun, her dry wit with that little twinkle in the eye and quiet smile. She once send me a card and inside was a small paper circle and the words, 'I sent you this round tuit because sometimes it is hard to get around to it' That was Sr Assumpta. I am sure she will bring all these gifts to heaven.

I am so sorry to hear of Sr.Assumpta’s passing. What an amazing lady she was. I was privileged to not only be taught by her but also to teach along side her for many years. From the very first moment I met her I knew I was going to really like her. She had the most amazing outlook on life as well as the most wonderful sense of humour. I was really fond of her and in latter years we always sent each other Christmas cards. She would chide me if I did not send her enough information about what was going on in my life. And I always got a return letter usually with some words of wisdom to which I was to take on board to better my life.
To all her extended family and her fellow Presentation sisters my sincerest condolences. The world has lost a truly wonderful character and Heaven will now enjoy her wonderful company. May she rest in peace dear lady.
