We were very deeply saddened to hear only this morning of the passing of our good friend Sr Bernadette and very sorry to miss the ceremonies to mark her passing. Sr Bernadette was a staunch supporter of Parkinson’s Ireland Cork branch and attended many of our activities. I will fondly remember her for all her fantastic help as a founder member of our choir. She was fundamental in securing rehearsal spaces for us and shared a beautiful songbook she had compiled for her community. She had a lovely smile and sang with us at our annual mass and other events with enthusiasm. Though small in stature she was a giant in spirit. We will miss her greatly and remember her always in our singing. Deepest condolences to her family, friends and all in the Bons Secours community. I am sure Sr. Bernadette will be given immediate membership to join the heavenly choir. Ar laimh dheis De go raibh a anam dilis🙏
