God bless Msgr. Charles Young for bringing Sr. Bernardine and the other Mercy Sisters to our Parish School. Their Irish joy and spirit was of great benefit and we loved them and have missed them. Enjoy Heaven, Bernardine, you earned it.
Sister Bernardine Morrisroe was without a doubt, my most consequential teacher. We loved her like family as she was there with us through thick and thin. She changed the way I looked at school for the better, as something to be enthusiastic about. I will always remember cross cancelling procedures in fractions with an Irish beat and brogue. RIP Sister, your ministry helped spread God’s love with an Irish accent. Your family is rightly proud how you not only ministered to minds, but more importantly to souls. Pls accept our condolences.

As one of Bernardine's 'Mercy' family I offer my sympathy to Tom, Eileen, Sean and famlily, to Seamus her brother in law on her death.
She radiated joy, fun, wit, and wisdom to all who knew her. Beneath that was a woman of'steel' blessed with so many gifts. She had a dream of blossoming to become the best human person she could be, with the help of her God. Her mission was simple,to spread the message of hope and christian living, to those we meet.
She bloomed where ever she was 'planted' but if conditions didn't facilate that, she steered in a fresh direction.
She was one of our most treasured members, and I thank her .
The closing chapter wasn't what she would choose, yet she embraced it with courage and resignation.
With the help of her soul friends and her God and and his mother, she lived on with a new ministry.
Thanks to the Morrisroe family for gifting 'Mercy' such a treasure.
We miss her surprised visits, when she shared and entertained us.
She had the ability to raise the spirit of the group, leaving us energised.
Ber, may you rest now in peace with all you loved ones.

Heaven has to make room for celebration, so gather the 'Mercy new arrivals, ask Eileen to brig the harp, and enjoy a seisiun'
Until we meet again .......
Sincerest sympathies to Tom Eileen and extended Morrisroe family and her congregation sisters on the sad passing of Sr Bríd.
