It is with deep sorrow I mourn the passing of Sr. Breda. We have been best friends since first we met in boarding school in St. Louis Convent, Carrickmacross. Until recent years, with three or four of our faithful class friends, Sr. Breda joined us for lunch and chat on our special days out. The venue might be the Gresham or Navan or Athboy. An intrinsically good and sincere lady, Breda was serious but with a charm and committment that inspired. To all the O'Hanrahan and O'Kelly families wherever, I extend my deepest sympathy. May her chosen Community, The Sisters of St. Louis, especially Sr. Frances, find consolation and peace in their sad loss of dear Sr.Breda. May her gentle soul rest in eternal peace ! Go raibh a h-anam uasal, dílis go h-árd ar Fhlaitheas Dê de shíoraí na beatha ! Amen. Maureen

My sympathies to Sr Breda’s family and St Louis Sisters on the death of Sr Breda. Thinking of you all at this difficult time.
Breda you have earned your eternal reward. It was a pleasure to know you during your time in our parish. Your heart and soul were in Blakestown for many years and we thank you for that. Rest in peace lovely lady.
I’m so sorry to hear of the death of Sr. Breda, a former colleague and a friend. A formidable educator and a wise , compassionate person from whom we all learnt so much. Rest in peace , dear Breda.
May Sr Breda Rest In Peace. She was a kind and caring person. From a former student of hers.
