My sincere sympathies to the Kennedy family and to the Mercy Sisters on the death of Sister Brenda Mary. May she now rest in the Lord's Peace. Sister Brenda was a truly extraordinary lady, to whom so many people are indebted. After a lifetime of service in Ireland, following her retirement as Matron of Kerry University Hospital, she spent the best part of her 'retirement' serving the health needs of the Palestinian people, even setting up a medical centre for them near Bethlehem. Ní bheidh a leithéid arís ann.
