Often heard sr can ice name being mentioned by my mam and aunt,Margaret Scott and Anna Somers.I’m sure my own aunt sr Gertrude Scott would have known her well.she is also buried in folkstown.my condolences to the family.great you had her in your lives.

I have the happiest of memories of Sr Canice from my time on the staff of the Irish College in Rome during the late 1980's. Together with so many other Sisters of St John of God, she was a gentle, kindly cheerful presence for both students and staff at that time. I will pray for her at Mass tomorrow, asking God to give her a kindly welcome into His presence in heaven, after a life spent generously serving Him
