Over the years we had many times together through ministry and socially. She was unique in her gift of positivity.She engaged in lively conversations around church affairs and politics. So sad on hearing of Carmel's departure from this life. We studied together over many summers in San Francisco with several teabreaks as 'part of the package'. !! Carmel was full of life and fun and I have wonderful memories of our times together in our youth! May Carmel be enfolded in God's eternal love after a life of service in Mercy and may you, her family, friends and Mercy Sisters, be comforted in your loss.
