We all have very fond memories of Sr. Catherine on our many visits to Waterford when visiting our aunt, Sr. Clare Bergin. We enjoyed her company and hearing about her earlier life abroad.
May she rest in peace with Srs. Clare, Enda, Helen, Maura, Gertrude and Marie, Mary.

Sincere condolences to all of Catherine’s family and her Good Shepherd community. Catherine was a lady, she was a wonderful friend of my sister Sr.Marie Murphy and was great to keep the link with us and the convent after Peggy passed away. Catherine always had a huge welcome when we visited and also spoke so fondly of Peggy, great friends whom we are sure are having a great catch up now in Heaven. Rest In Peace Catherine.

Deepest sympathy to Sr. Catherine’s community and family. What a wonderful missionary, full of life, fun and zeal. We shared a small community group in Angers, France when attending a course for missionaries in Africa. Later I met Catherine in Madagascar, a shepherding life-force empowering women and girls living in poverty. Later we would have met when I visited in Waterford. For Catherine life is changed, not taken away … We miss Catherine’s presence with us but know that she will accompany us and be with us in a new ways. May Catherine now enjoy the fullness of life.

It was a pleasure dealing with you down through the years Sr Catherine. You will be missed.

May her dear soul rest in peace. She will now be united with all her family and Sisters of the Congregation who have gone before her. Praying for you all at this sad time. I got to know her during her many visits to Bridget when we Mercy Srs. from the neighbourhood joined the FMDMs for daily mass. in Ballinasloe. Kathleen was always so friendly. May she be enfolded in God's eternal love now together with all who have gone before her.

Condolences to all the Veale and Foran family. May Sr Catherine (Kathleen) rest in peace. Sr Catherine was the most gentle kind soul, l cant imagine all the good and care she showed in her work in the missionaries. A life spent helping others , she spoke so lovingly of the little children she cared for, her work and the various countries she spent time in.

A talented musican; who still to this day played her piano . Such an intelligent person who still read her books in various languages (irish and French) .

Dunhill held so many happy memories, of family, and beach days spent in Annestown which were spoken of regularly.

Catherine had a deep love and admiration for her family, her mother, father, and siblings and said to me on numerous occasions how "lucky" she was to have a family like hers.

Rest in peace Sr Catherine you will be deepy missed by many. May you rest in peace, exactly how you lived being happy, grateful and positive .
