I have fond memories of her from Our Lady’s Hospital and over the years met her on many occasions out and about in Navan town . I will miss her sense of humour and friendly disposition.

Sincere sympathy to the Sisters of Mercy, especially our Sisters in Navan and to the Mc Entee family on the sudden passing of Sr Chanel. Sr Chanel was great fun, always with a point of view on every topic and an informed one too, ever so friendly, and kind and generous with her time - she supported every single Parish event that she could and would be the life and soul of the hospitality on offer afterwards! We will certainly miss her around St Mary’s and from her preferred seat these past years, near the top on the Trimgate Street side of the Church.
She gave her life to God as a Mercy Sister all those years ago…the light of Heaven must certainly be shining on Sr Chanel now…
