Although we didnt know Sr Charlotte personally we are saddened to hear of her loss. We offer sympathy to her sisters in the Abbey at Glencairn and to her family. Her prayer, as part of her community, has been a great blessing to us all in the locality and further afield. What a gift it is to us all to have the beautiful haven of St Mary's Abbey to visit when we need a little time of contemplation and quiet prayer. May Sr Charlotte rest now in the arms of the Lord.

Sincere sympathy to Cistercian Community Glencairn on the death of dear Sr Charlotte and to her sisters relatives and friends. We were privileged to have Sr. live here in our community where she touched the lives of many in a very positive but very quiet way . She cycled to Mass daily and was known and loved by everyone. She was a very spiritual and holy person very intuitive and full of wisdom who also was good fun and enjoyed a laugh. I’m so lucky to have known Sr.Charlotte on my life journey.

I have known Charlotte for a lifetime. We were pupils together at the local Elementary School. She became a Religious Sister; I a Missionary priest. We communicated regularly down through the years and always remained firm friends. Charlotte, throughout her life, kept exploring new paths that would enable her to love and serve the Lord. Her pilgrimage is ended. She is now at home. May she rest in peace with her parents and all those she loved here on earth. She now rests in the arms of a Loving, Compassionate God.
— Kevin McHugh, Columban Missionary. Cushendun. Co. Antrim
