Sr. Christina DUFFICY

Sincere sympathies to the Dufficy family, the Sisters of Mercy and all at McAuley House. Sr.Christina was such a great character, so hospitable, enthusiastic and talented. She showed great kindness my aunt Sr. Margaret. I have very fond memories of visiting McAuley House, especially her brilliant piano playing and sing-songs. May her gentle soul rest in peace.

We have many fond memories of Sr Christina when she worked in Fuerty parish as a parish sister. Many people were happy to share their problems with her and found her to be a kind, discreet and generous friend.
She introduced the parish children to music and song by having their choir in Athleague church for some years. Also,
she had frequent visits to Fuerty school where she taught the pupils many beautiful songs and hymns.
A true christian lady. May she enjoy the light and happiness of heaven for ever.
