Sincere sympathy to sr Peggy and all the Presentation community in Roxboro also sr Claire’s extended family on sr Claire’s sad passing. I deeply regret I am abroad and unable to attend her funeral. I have such fond memories of sr Claire she was a pleasure to know .

We would like to offer our sincere sympathies to Sr Peggy the presentation sisters and extended family on the sad passing of Sr Claire. She was a wonderful teacher and treated her students with care beyond the line of duty. We as students had a wonderful time taking part in her musical shows from singing in the rain to performing as little dutch girls she saw the good in everyone and for that we thank her. No doubt she will have every angel in heaven singing in the choir.

She was my gentle , inspirational teacher in second and fifth classes in Primary school , she has always been a musical friend and supporter of all I have ever done in my teaching life in Pres Sexton St . . She has been a prayer friend at various times of my life assuring me of her continued love and prayers when I needed them.
My deepest regret is that I am out of the country this week so unable to attend her funeral mass . Be assured she will be in my thoughts and prayers. May her gentle soul rest in peace and her spirit fly to the soprano line of the choir of Angels.

I have fond memories of Sr Claire (previously Sr Aloysius) from my school days and she would ask me to deliver letters to her sisters in Osmington Terrace as I lived nearby.
