We were very sorry to hear the news of St Colette’s passing.
We have fond memories of Sr Colette as our 1st class teacher in Carysfort NS.
We also really enjoyed bumping into her in Lazy Days cafe over years and chatting about all our teaching careers.

Although Sr Colette was my first cousin, I only had the pleasure of meeting her a few times when she was on retreat in Waterford. She very kindly sent me Mass bouquets every Christmas for many years. May Sr Colette's gentle soul rest in peace.
Sincere condolences to the family of Sr. Colette and to the community in the Mercy Order. I worked with Sr. Colette in Carysfort NS, Blackrock and she was such a great help to me. In my first year of teaching, I had 1st class and Sr. Colette was the other 1st class teacher. I learnt so much from her that year and will be forever grateful for the guidance, kindness and support she gave me. Sr. Colette was a much valued member of the Carysfort team and was so lovely to chat with in the staffroom. For our monthly staff meetings Sr. Colette used to print off a lovely prayer for us to read before each meeting. We missed her terribly when she retired. May her gentle soul rest in peace.
