Heartfelt condolences to Sr Colette’s siblings & extended family & a huge circle of friends.
I got such a shock when Sr Angela from ‘George’s Hill’ on her visit to me told me the very sad news of Colette’s demise,a wonderful caring lady , time for everyone, loved her visits to her family in Cork ,always interested in the person she would meet, never allowing herself compliments that she truely deserved ,loved her Presentation community.
Director of CORI was a huge undertaking,
traveling to conferences, Rome etc, upsetting but knew a strong voice needed to represent children & families caught up in such pain
I may have been your chiropodist but friend too, thank you for your loyalty all the years.
Sr Veronica O Donnell (Domnician Sr) a friend from your very early days, was in shock when I told her as she had been speaking to you in Cork just before u came back to the Mater private, both of us sorry to have missed your farewell tribute Mass
Rest in peace Colette in your heavenly home.

So sorry to hear of Sr Collette’s passing.
I met Sr Collette in ward 2B in CUH while we were both recovering. Her great sense of humour and witty remarks had me in stitches and she would cheer me on from across the room as I was slowly getting back on my feet. She was kind enough to keep in touch after being moved to Dublin and would check in on me which really meant a lot.
Rest in peace Sr Collette.

Therese, such a shock to hear of the passing of your fantastic Aunt Colette. It was a lovely surprise to make the connection to you and your mum after I had the pleasure to meet her at several safeguarding sessions. She was wickedly witty, very wise and and kind. May the gap she leaves be filled with memories of what a great woman she was.
Colette was a beautiful person
She was a great first cousin.
Always fun and full of laughter but deep down very deep, serious and clever.
I so regret that I didn’t see her in her recent illness before she moved to the Mater and that I didn’t get a chance to say thanks and goodbye to my wonderful , kind, amicable first cousin.
I will miss meeting her.
God speed Colette.
Rosemarie.

We are so sorry that Colette has died. As a child, her visits to Castlelack were so uplifting. She always brought laughter and a touch of irreverence which we lapped up as kids and teenagers. As adults, she gaves us levity and reminded us of the important stuff.

To the Stevenson Family and the Presentation community, sincere condolences on the loss of your wonderful Colette, her visits to our home saw old neighbours and friends come together and speak of 'long ago'. I'll remember her always, and thank God for Colette. Leaba i measc na naoimh go raibh aici.
We were in UCD together. My memory is of fun and laughter; and Aileen Dalton, Bernadette Hempson and herself breaking all the ridiculous rules nuns were held back by in those days. and their letters to Hibernia. And a fellow sister who used to report them to the superiors in Muckross. I only heard of her death tonight and was so sorry to have missed her funeral mass and be there to thank God for all the joy she brought to me and to many.
