I was in DeLaSalle in Waterford when Sr Cuthbert was an unusually warm and caring presence there. It was lovely to reconnect with her many years later in Ballinasloe. She still exuded the same warmth. A lovely woman. May she rest in utmost peace.

Great memories of Sr Cuthbert in De La Salle college in Waterford, and more recently with my Aunt Bridget in the convent in Ballinasloe. May she Rest in Peace.

I have great memories of Sr Cuthbert… She used to visit our family in Dublin with Mother Francisca….. She was a delightful person…smiling and laughing…. with great stories to tell. My mother RIP used always comment on her big brown eyes!!!! RIP

A wonderful character has left a vacant chair in the FMDM Convent in Ballinasloe. Cuthbert was a unique and fun-filled person that I always felt the better of meeting. I enjoyed her quaint sayings and special wit. She brought brightness into every encounter, always looking at the " bright side" of life. It's difficult to believe that she has crossed the threshold from this life to the next where she will be rnfolded in God's eternal love and will radiate it back to us. I feel privileged to have known her and will treasure her goodness to me and to the ''Mercies' in the neighbourhood, in particular. I won't forget all the "goodies" she sent our way while on sabbatical in Rome many years ago. Thank you, Cuthbert, for being a special part of my life's journey. May the FMDMs especially Theresa and Helena, be comforted in your loss as well as your family.
