I have wonderful memories of my fourth class teacher, Sr. Dolores who was also my colleague in Rushbrooke NS. She was a dedicated and talented teacher who encouraged her students to strive for excellence in all their pursuits. She was a gifted teacher of elocution.

We have very fond memories of the wonderful times visiting Rushbrooke .We have often recalled the laughs when Frances & Tess were collecting Sr. Dominic for her visit home and they dressed as "Wren Boys".Sr .Dolores answered the door ,didn't recognize us but couldn't get rid of us either.
She is now re united with Sr. Eucharia and the rest of her family in her well deserved Heavenly Home .May she Rest In Peace .Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time.

Fond memories of Sr. Dolores during her time at Norwood. She showed such kindness to our five children, which I will never forget. Sr. Dolores also was a huge help to the girls who arranged flowers for all the important occasions in the church - we especially enjoyed our lovely chats with Dolores and all the other sisters over a cup of tea and treats afterwards.

Together with Our Auntie Bridie, she had a unique place in our family. On all our own family visits to Rushbrooke and Cobh we were greeted always with warmth and hospitality by the Mercy Community. It was a special place where we were nurtured under the wise guidance of Sister Dolores and the other Sisters !

I want to offer my sympathies to the family of Sr Dolores and the Sisters of Mercy in Cobh. I attended Roshbrooke school when it had only 2 rooms. Sr Dolores had classes 4, 5, and 6. And shared the room with Sr.Augustine who had classes 2 and 3. They gave us a good start in life. Very grateful
