My sincere sympathy to Brid, Sean, Fiona, the Sisters of Mercy and to all who mourn Sr Eileen, who has passed from this life to eternal life with God. I have known St Eileen from her teenage years. Our grandmothers were sisters. My last contact with her was a visit in the nursing home after Easter. Sr Eileen was a gentle, kind, caring and dedicated Sister of Mercy who quietly made a huge contribution to the work of the Sisters in Ballyshannon. May her gentle soul rest in peace.
