A gentle kindly friendly soul when you met Elizabeth you met her. Her eyes said it all - she communicated not just her attention but her genuine interest ,her compassion,her wish to listen and to care .
One of my first memories of Sr.Elizabeth was being at Mass in Tallow Carmel and noticing when Mass was over ,a local Parishoner going very quietly over to Elizabeth ,touching her shoulder and being greeted with that smile and warm handshake that said " Don't worry I am with you ,praying for you ,all will be well" . No words spoken but perfect understanding between the Carmelite and the local woman.

Sr.Elizabeth spoke from her heart through her smile that welcomed everyone.So many trusted her with their worries and sorrows - they knew all was safe in her heart and brought to Himself at the Altar daily.She shared her own stories in humble quiet ways ,that endeared to many. Elizabeth only looked down to lift you up and she lifted so many who visited Tallow Carmel.
Elizabeth I thank you for my beautiful memories of being affirmed and empowered by you on some dull days.
May He, whom you meet Face to Face now ,Sr.Elizabeth , reward you for all your kind words ,kind thoughts and your humble faithfulness to your Carmelite Way.

I have very fond memories of Bridie (as we knew her) as a child when she brought her dear mum and her aunt Tess to visit my nana (aunt Ellie) in Chelsea. Bridie would leave them to natter and would take us for a spin in the car. We will contiue to pray for you as I'm sure you are still doing for us all on the otherside. Rest in peace gentle soul - your work on earth is done. x

So sad to hear of the passing of St.Elizabeth known to us as Bridie our lovely late mum’s first cousin.
Bridie was such a good friend to my mum they grew up together and were extremely close.
We have very fond and happy memories of Bridie visiting our home in Moyleen.
Lovely meals prepared by my mum
and wonderful conversations around the fire.
We always looked forward to our annual visit to Tallow to visit Bridie .
