It was with sadness that I heard of the unexpected passing of Sr Eucharia. Sincere sympathy to her sisters, Anna, Sr. Sheila and Teresa, her brother, Jimmy, her many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews and the community at Presentation Convent, Milltown. Eucharia, may you rest forever in the peace, happiness and joy of God’s kingdom. “The stars will shine brighter because you are there.”(quoting the words of a song)

Eucharia was an avid reader, both as regards matters of spirituality and world events and was always willing to share her wealth of information with others, she also took a great interest in the art of letter writing. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam dílis.

Our sincerest sympathy to Presentation Sisters and Carmody relations on the sad passing of your beloved Sr Eucharia . She was a very kind and understanding colleague for many years . Her depth of knowledge was amazing and she loved to listen and to relate her life experiences .Her kindness and understanding of her pupils endeared her to many . May she rest in peace .

talented teacher during our school days and our many
delightful meetings with her both in Killarney and Milltown throughout the latter years.
She really loved people and travel and how she excelled in recalling every aspect of her travels!

It was only today 5 December. that I received news of my dear cousin's death. For many years she has been supplying me with information about our family tree. What a sharp mind and retentive memory she had!
I dearly wish I had been at her funeral. But I am glad to have paid her a visit a few months ago. We both enjoyed a long chat; she was in great form.
May her soul rest happily in Heaven.

So sad to hear of the death of dear Angela. Such wonderful, happy memories of all the time we all spent together in our younger, carefree days. I remember the day so well when she told me, she was joining the Nuns. My very warm sympathy to Anna, Sheila, Jimmy and Tess.
