Sincere sympathy to the Sisters of Mercy and the Keegan Family on the death of Sr Gemma. I was lucky to have passed through the hallowed halls of the S. H.S . back in the mid sixties( as a boarder) and I have many memories of Sr Gemma. I don't think the mid night feasts went undetected! Sr Gemma actually noticed the apples missing from Sr Bridgets barrel !!
She was a great lady. May she rest in peace.

I remember her from her time in Kilcormac convent when my father completed work there (Oliver Coady, deceased).
