She was a really lovely lady kind and caring, I always enjoyed a chat or a letter from her. May she be happy in her new home in Heaven reunited with all her departed family and friends. Deepest condolences to Sr. Immaculata’s family and the Sisters of Mercy. I have such fond memories of her as the sacristan in St Mary’s so kind and helpful. She was such a caring person with a genuine concern for people. She was so unassuming and treated everyone with the same respect. She prepared the altar and church with such devotion and care. She had a lovely warm smile for all who came into the church and a great sense of humour too. We were blessed to have had her for so many years in St. Mary’s.

Sr Immaculata was a first cousin of my father and a regular visitor to our home in my childhood and youth. She showed great kindness and compassion to my late mother in her prolonged final illness. May she be rewarded for this in the next life.
