My deepest sympathy to you all. We cant express how much we will miss Sr Joan. The residents on st Johns ward specifically the rosary group miss her terribly. We will always cherish the beautiful memories she left behind to remember her. May she rest in peace in the arms of the Lord.

I got to know Sr. Joan very well during my years as a Home/School/Community Co-ordinaries as she did similar work , visiting families etc. She had a deep interest in people & in their welfare. Sincere condolences to the Aherne family and sister Joans religious community on the sad passing of sister Joan. I always enjoyed our chats on St Johns when I visit my mom Nell. She was very kind to my grandchildren and would give them a medal.
