We’re very sad to hear of Sr. Joseph’s passing. Our Dad, Gerry, held his cousin, Rita in the highest esteem and always marvelled at the work she did at home and in faraway places. Her passing brings forward memories of times past and links that go back the generations through our father and grandfather, and especially the Limerick/Dublin ties that bind us. Sincere condolences to Anne, Mary, Audrey, Eithne, Marion and Clodagh, and their families, and all those whose lives Sr. Joseph touched for good in different parts of the world. Sincere sympathy to Sr. Joseph’s family and community on her passing. I met Rita and Dolo a few times when they would visit my late mother Joan Heaney (nee Deegan). She always spoke of them both fondly and the great work they did. RIP

A wonderful lady, true to to her good Shepherd Calling. Today Sr.Joseph is reaping the rewards of her long life of love and service in our good Shepherd Congregation. Sr. Joseph thanks for your love and sisterliness during our time together in Sussex Place Community, Belfast. You believed in being true to yourself and encouraging other to be themselves. Enjoy your moment of peace and happiness in the Lord's presence for all eternity -- promised to each of us. Prayers for all,
