Deepest condolences to all the Regan families on the sad passing of Sr. Joseph. The Regan family were great friends of f my late Dad Bernard Shanley, Middleton, Killashee originally from Derryadd. They were regular visitors to our home and they were great lively chats on farming and politics. They were great people.

Many years ago I had the privilege of seeing at first hand her many endearing qualities when I worked in Lanesboro Secondary school. Her talents were many and varied and she was particularly gifted with her hands. Her warmth of personality, innate spirituality, and her ever - radiant smile plus her constant willingness to help and support everyone made life very pleasant for so many people. in Lanesboro NS, to Sr. Joseph in the BIG CONVENT. Sr. Joseph always met me with a smile and a bun or scone.

She was a great friend of of my late father P Mc Grath, Derrygeel and his cousin late Sr Bernadette Donegan Poor Clare sister. So sorry to hear about the passing of dear dear Sr Joseph… one of the legends of Lanesboro convent! Few have a bigger heart than Sr Joseph’s. She’ll be fondly remembered and sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Sr. Joseph moved through the seasons of life gracefully, faithfully, curiously, joyfully, generous in service, wise in counselling, constant in prayer. With her gifted hands and glowing smile she has left a beautiful fingerprint on the landscape of her corner of the vineyard. May she
