Sr. Kathleen Quinlan

My sincere condolences to the Quinlan family and Presentation Sisters on the loss of Sr. Kathleen. I have only just heard of her death. I have many treasured memories of my days in the Presentation school, many of them due to the warmth and kindness of Sr. Kathleen; how she cared so much about the wellbeing of her pupils, how she led her team and steered the progression of the school. Nano’s spirit oozed through Kathleen. She is certainly dancing her socks off in her new home and telling a good old story also! Fond farewell cousin Kathleen. Unfortunately we are not able to be in your beloved Killarney for your final Mass and sendoff. You were a wonderful example of inner peace who radiated goodness and happiness with your smile and calm contributions to so many you came across in your fruitful life. Our sympathy to all the generations of family and to your Presentation family in Kerry and the wider Community with whom you achieved such a fulfilling life. May you enjoy meeting Our Maker and Mary, Michael, John and Padraig again. The music is on in Heaven, let the joyful dance begin.

To the Presentation Sisters, Quinlan Families, Relatives and Sr. Kathleen’s many friends, our deepest condolences. We were unable to join you for her removal and mass but did watch it online. What a beautiful service. May her love for goodness and dance inspire us all to celebrate life each and every day. May her beautiful soul enjoy much delight in her heavenly home.
