I am saddened to hear about my past Principal's death. Sr. Kathleen Toland was more than a Principal at Holy Rosary Secondary School. She was my mentor. Young as I was (eleven in 1973) she grew interest in me and found out that my parents could not pay my fees even though I scored very high marks to transition to Secondary School. She taught me French, She made me schools prefect and gave me scholarship to complete my Secondary School Education. She gave me education, she nurtured me on the path of leadership. I have never ceased to remember her touch to my life. May her good work in our poor country Sierra Leone ever remain in our hearts and be her guiding torch as she crosses over. May her soul Rest In Perfect Peace. Amen.
Rest in peace now aunty kitty, you were the best and we will all miss you so much. You have touched so many people and where loved by all. Sleep Tight xxx
