I had the privilege of knowing Sr. Attracta as a colleague and friend. The kindnesses and support I received as a young teacher from Srs, Attracta, Marian and Noreen and the Mercy sisters in Killaloe are deeply appreciated. When the history of St. Anne's Community College comes to be written the contribution of Sr. Attracta and the other sisters such as Srs. Colette, Brenda, Eileen, Noreen and others will feature prominently. May her reward be great in heaven and may all who mourn her be comforted by the great legacy to family, education and community that she leaves behind. Beatha agus Dilseacht were the school motto and Attracta in her life exemplified both. Rest in Peace. Brendan.
