Our very sincere condolences to Fr Dick, her Community and all the Hegarty family on the sad passing of Sr Immaculata. We will never forget her care of Dad and her kindness to us all at the time of his death in CUH. She was a very special person, our ‘Guardian Angel’ at a very difficult time. In 1978 she moved to the Cork Regional Hospital, now the C.U.H. where she continued her good work until her retirement. Kindness to and caring for others were some of her many strengths. She was a colleague and good friend of Sr. Thecla, an aunt of mine who was the first Matron in the Cork Regional Hospital. May Sr. Immaculata Rest In Peace.
