Sr. Maeve McMAHON O.P.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of Sr. Maeve. She was not only an amazing influential principal and teacher at St. Leo the Great but also a family friend. We are forever grateful for her incredible kindness and service to the children and community of New Orleans. She will truly be missed.

Condolences to the family, love ones and many lives Sr Maeve has touched. I will always cherish near and dear to my heart the time spent with you Sr. Maeve. St. Leo Lion are we.

Deepest sympathy to the McMahon family and the Dominican Community on the death of Maeve. We met her many years ago in New Orleans and more recently in Rosslare Strand where we had a great chat. Loved her book "Riding Out The Hurricane " Maeve is in our thoughts and prayers.

Although we only met Maeve briefly, her positivity, spirit & friendly nature inspired us to do what we can to bring about change through approaches such as Doughnut economics. We will continue to think of Maeve in this work in west Cork moving forward. Ar dheis Dé a Anam.

So sorry to hear this sad news. I worked with Sr. Maeve in the JUST programme in Ballymun where wonderful work was being done. Just a small piece in her huge contribution to humanity and kindness.
