Sr Maeve was my teacher in my final year at the convent of Mercy in Birr, and I always remember her teachings As Gaeilge every Friday.
She could put the ‘fear of god’ in you at times, but she had a bigger heart and I loved her. We kept in touch even after I left the Emerald Isle and I know heaven has another angel now.

Sincere condolences to all her loved ones that she leaves behind her.
