Sr Mairéad Carberry LCM

I send my sincere sympathy to the sisters of The Little Company of Mary and Sr Mairead's family. I worked with her in MCH for many happy years. She was always kind, happy, helpful and calm. A native of Dublin, she enjoyed going for long walks. Surely a life to be celebrated. May she rest in peace.

I would very much like to express my sincere sympathy to the community of the little Company of mary and the extended carberry family on Sr Mairead's passing.I worked on the 3rd floor mount carmel,for many years ,was always touched by her gentle presense ,bringing on shift kindness ,support ,and concern for mother,baby and staff ,may she rest in peace

Our sincere sympathy to Sr. Mairèad's Little Company of Mary Sisters, her loving family; especially her sister-in-law and dear friend Mary Carberry. Sister Mairèad was a humble gentle lady with a great sense of humour. We have many lovely memories of meeting Sr. Mairèad at weddings and family gatherings of her dear sister-in-law Mary and her late brother Philip. May her gentle soul rest in peace.

My condolences to Sr Mairead's family. I remember her so well and I smile as I organised her holidays with my late aunt Sr Mary O’Toole…. The dramas the airport and the gratitude afterwards. May she rest in a well earned and deserved peace.

I had the privilege of working alongside her in the maternity unit of Mount Carmel Hospital where her kindness, calm spirit, and deep compassion brought comfort to the mothers, babies, and the staff.

Very sad to hear of the passing of Auntie Mairéad. We had good craic when Auntie Mairéad used to call to our house to see her sister and my ma Maeve Conlon (RIP). Allways was great for giving good advice on many a subject, when we were growing up.
