Heartfelt sympathies to the family and the Holy Rosary sisters and to the very many people whose lives Sr Mairead changed for the better. I have very fond memories of my time in Cameroon with her. Rarely have I met anyone as perspicacious, as intelligent and as full of true generosity of spirit. A Jewish friend who visited me in Cameroon remembers her with great respect and affection as the first nun she ever met. Mairead's love and her wit will make even Heaven a happier place.

With much love and sympathy to all my Fitzpatrick Cousins on the loss of their most wonderful aunt and sister, who was the definition of a true Christian. Mairead was treasured in life and will be always remembered in death. RIP
