My sincere sympathy to Maria's family, Cathy and all her close friends in the Sisters of Mercy. She was a lovely and gentle neighbour in Parc a Tobair who helped to leave a lovely legacy of organic farming and much plantings of native species for all to enjoy. RIP Maria.

Sincere sympathy also to her Rel Community the Srs. of Mercy, Arus Muire. She was a woman before her time; who had a great passion for ecology and the care of the earth and environment. She didn't just talk about it, she spent many years living simply and humbly close to the earth and went all over Ireland raising awareness in Schools and other groups on the urgency of caring for our planet. May she be at peace and harmony with all of life.
